IAA Arborist Rigging – From Old School to Cutting Edge

In this workshop we will cover old school techniques for a climber to lower tree parts on lines safely into tight quarters, then skip a lot of the more advanced in-tree techniques, lunging right into the safe mechanical disassembly and transport of much larger parts by an arborist on the ground operating the remote controls of a grapple saw crane.
We will be in the real world removing a real dead ash tree in tight quarters. Attendees will not help but will have to be in the yard to see the rigging so PPE (helmet, hearing, and eye protection) will be required.
Cost: $50
4 ISA CEUs will be available. CTSP CEUs pending.
