We will start off with about a 20-25 minute Powerpoint explaining grafting and concentrating on whip-and-tongue and chip budding followed by a live grafting demonstration of whip-and-tongue.  The rest of the time will be spent with participants grafting their own trees.  Each participant will bring home two self-grafted apple trees.  Some grafting knives will be provided.  Please bring your own grafting knife or sharp pocketknife if you have one.  Additional rootstock will be available for $10 each if you want to take some home to graft to your own apple scionwood.
